About The A OK

One person. Dhaka, Bangladesh. No team, no office, no fees.

This started from a simple observation: a lot of people get stuck — not because they lack ability, but because they lack one piece of information, one contact, or one small push. A visa checklist. A government office address. The correct meaning of "The" or "A" in English. A route through Bandarban that a local actually knows.

So this exists to provide that. Quietly.

What this is

A free voluntary service run by a single individual based in Dhaka. Available on weekends for travel, visa, and business guidance. Every evening for Bangla and English language sessions. By arrangement for motorcycle tours, life skills, and career push support.

What this is not

  • Not an agency
  • Not a business
  • Not a registered organisation
  • Not a way to earn money
  • Not looking for recognition

Why anonymous?

The work matters. The name behind it does not. Keeping the operator's identity private means the focus stays on the person being helped — not on the person doing the helping. It also protects both sides.

On trust

There is a full transparency page that lists exactly what happens with your information, which laws this service operates under, and who to contact if something feels wrong. Nothing is hidden.

On gratitude

No payment is accepted. No donations. If this helped you and you want to do something — plant a tree. That is genuinely enough.

"If this helped you — plant a tree. That's enough."
