Common questions

Is this really free?

Yes. Every service is completely free. No fees, no hidden charges, no donations accepted. If you feel grateful, plant a tree somewhere.

Who runs The A OK?

One person, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. No team, no organisation, no office. The operator's identity is kept private by choice — this is a quiet service, not a brand.

What languages do you work in?

English is the primary language. Bangla is also available. The Bangla language sessions are specifically for people who want to learn Bangla from scratch.

Is it safe for women and solo travellers?

Safety is a priority. There is a dedicated Women's Safety section with specific guidance for solo female travellers. All communication starts from your request — the operator does not initiate contact.

Can children join the language sessions?

Yes, with a parent or guardian present in every session. This is a non-negotiable requirement for all sessions involving minors.

What if I need help with something not listed?

Use the contact form and describe your situation. If it is something that can be helped with, a response will follow. There is also a dedicated page called One Push for people who need a single resource, connection, or tool to start something.

Real stories. Anonymous always.

We never share names, photos, or personal details. Privacy is a promise, not a policy.

We never share anyone's name, photo, phone number, or personal information — ever. These stories are shared only with explicit permission, and all identifying details are removed.
